Nicole graduated Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child, Youth, and Family Studies. She has worked in child care for 9 years, and her goal is to become a child and family therapist specializing in trauma. Knowing the language and culture of Ukraine, she wants to help refugee families. “By helping one family at a time, I can help multiple generations in the future.”

She loves to travel, and in 2019, she visited 9 countries across Europe and Asia by herself. Her favorite countries were the Czech Republic and Japan!

Nicole was a 2022 summer Intern.
