Michelle T. Nguyen, MD, FACOG
Dr. Michelle Nguyen is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician at Specialty Obstetrics of San Diego/Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns. She currently also serves on the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) Health Policy & Advocacy Committee, the Sharp Healthcare Bioethics Committee, and the Sharp Mary Birch Perinatal Palliative Care Committee. She completed her fellowship training at the University of Southern California, where she collaborated with Dr. Marlena Fejzo and the HER Foundation on hyperemesis gravidarum research. She has also published research on maternal mental health and perinatal ethics. She provides clinical treatment for many patients with HG and continues to advocate for HG awareness, education, and research.
