Erika Giraldo, DNP, ARNP

Erika Giraldo is a HG survivor and is honored to collaborate with The HER Foundation and improve outcomes for women and their families. Over the years, she has volunteered to provide peer-to-peer support for women with high-risk pregnancies. She received her Master’s in Nursing and Doctor of Nurse Practice from the University of Washington. She is board-certified as a family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and has been working in private practice, seeing clients of all ages. She has extensive experience as a nurse as she served in the US Navy and worked in civilian medical-surgical, cardiac telemetry, ICU, home health, outpatient, and women’s health clinics. She is currently working as an Associate Director of Clinical Practice Liaisons/Field Medical Affairs at Neurocrine. She has an increased interest in outcomes research and recently obtained a Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) certificate.
