Today is Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) Awareness Day, a powerful moment in HG Awareness Month to reflect on how far we’ve come and how far we still need to go.
Each year, the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action promotes World Breast Feeding Week from August 1-7. The 2022 theme is Step up for Breastfeeding: Educate and Support. While there are benefits for breastfeeding, not all HG survivors are able to breastfeed.
The devastating complications of HG are numerous, the silver lining is that a great many of them are preventable with timely, effective, adequate medical care. To this end, the HER Foundation launched the 1 MOM Is 2 Many campaign.
The HER Foundation publishes a new study demonstrating the effectiveness of the HyperEmesis Level Prediction (HELP) Score in identifying pregnant women with severe symptoms of NVP.
Support another 20 years of helping mothers and babies thrive. HER is the global voice and leader for HG research and education.
We are proud to announce that the HER Foundation has joined ASPEN, the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, as an Ambassador for ASPEN Malnutrition Awareness Week on October…
