November is Prematurity Awareness Month. Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is one of the leading causes of prematurity. Women with HG are up to 4-fold increased risk are premature birth and are more likely to deliver babies that are small for gestational age and growth restricted likely due to malnutrition and stress.
