He took HG and dehydration seriously. Was informed on med options and zofran pump use. It was easy to contact him through the patient portal when I needed fluids and it was easy to go get fluids. They way UAMS charges for fluids is much cheaper than IV clinics – you don’t even pay a copay to see a provider because it is a nurse visit. I had complications with my pregnancy and he managed my pregnancy alongside the MFMs also at UAMS. UAMS is a great place to be if you have HG and Dr. Smith was very compassionate and proactive! Highly recommend!
