Nicole graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Child, Youth, and Family Studies. She has over 10 years of experience working in child care and is passionate about supporting children and families. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with the goal of becoming a licensed therapist.

Nicole first joined the HER Foundation as a Summer Intern in 2022 and has since taken on roles in Communications and Support. She now serves as the Foundation’s Volunteer Manager, where she helps lead and strengthen community engagement.

Outside of her professional work, Nicole is an avid traveler. In 2019, she embarked on a solo journey across Europe and Asia, visiting nine countries in one summer. To date, she has explored 14 countries, with the Czech Republic and Japan among her favorites.
