April Horsley, PsyD
Dr. April Horsley has spent more than a decade contributing to making a difference in the lives of others because helping people learn to connect with their authentic selves is what she loves. She has over 10 years of experience working in clinical and neuropsychology practices, inpatient and outpatient mental institutions, correctional facilities, and large corporations in both the United States and Germany. She had HG during her first pregnancy which resulted in a loss due to poor quality of care. This led her to seek out online support groups and the HER Foundation to support her through her second pregnancy. She has been involved in the Foundation and in the online support groups since then.
Dr. Horsley earned her first master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy in 2006. She earned her second master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University in 2010. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University in 2012. She has a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State University. She owns and runs her own personal coaching business, is a wife, and mother of twins.
