We had an amazing week at the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) 40th Annual Pregnancy Meeting in Grapevine, TX! We were the only organization representing HG, and we personally educated doctors from across the world and reached over 2500 more with our resources in their conference bags. We are your voice, the global voice of HG.
Be sure to watch Dr. Fejzo’s presentation of “Additional risk variant in GDF15 and a stronger maternal genetic influence linked to Hyperemesis Gravidarum.” This is the first time HER research has been presented at SMFM. You can also take a full tour of our booth with Kimber, get a quick tour of educational materials, or link to our tools/resources.
Seven members of #TeamHER volunteered their time to be your voice, including HER Executive Director, Kimber MacGibbon; three board members, Dr. Patrick Mullin, Dr. Marlena Fejzo, and Kelly Ryerson; one volunteer, Nikki D.; and co-founder Ann Marie King. We are thrilled with the quality of the interactions we had with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, the new AWHONN president, SMFM committee members, and even the incoming SMFM president! In addition, our treatment algorithm/resources flier was in all 2500 attendee conference bags! We also engaged many on social media before, during, and after the event. That is a lot of education and opportunities! [tribulant_slideshow gallery_id=”4″]
