Linda Newgent, RN
Linda Newgent is an OB RN, Director of Training and Development for Optum OB Home Care, and a national speaker for Optum OB Homecare. She has created and implemented multiple CEUs including “NVP: It’s not just hyperemesis.” She leads the development and ongoing evolution of the Optum NVP program with continuous subcutaneous infusion of antiemetic medications. Since 1991, the program has provided care for more than 100,000 women on the NVP continuum.
Prior to Optum, Linda was a staff RN for the High Risk OB Department in a Level III hospital, then held roles as a hospital supervisor. She is also a Certified Human Behavior Consultant and was certified in Inpatient Obstetrics through AWHONN.
