Baby Katie is Here!

Postby PallasAthena » Oct 09, 2011 4:20 pm

Baby Katie was born on Sept 27th at 12:34 PM. She was born in the water at the birth center without the use of drugs (except zofran!). She weighed 11 lbs. Nope. Not a typo. She was seriously that big!

She's wonderful. A very easy baby. Nursing has been a struggle for me with cracked nipples, mastitis, and thrush, but she's doing fantastic.

And you know what else? I CAN EAT AGAIN!!!!!!!

She was the 3rd largest my Midwives had ever delivered and the biggest my doula had ever assisted with.

She is the size of a 3 month old!

I passed my diabetes test! I swear! LOL!

You. F*cking. Rock.

Sorry for the profanity... but I am serious lady.

Congrats. I've been checking in every so often to see what's happening.

Now, eat!! And rest! And enjoy your little bundle.

I'm in awe. I couldn't squeeze out a 9 pounder (LO#1) with a full epidural. You are amazing.

A huge congratulations to you on your new baby and also goodbye to the HG witch. I hope you are enjoying food and not barfing!
