my son has arrived

Postby JEBE » Mar 24, 2011 10:01 pm

Benjamin Eugenio was born Tuesday, March 15 weighed 6lbs 9oz. @ 12:59pm.

My delivery was so much better than my first and some how I ended up having only the 2 people that I wanted without even asking. I checked in @ 7pm on the 14th and the cervadil was started @ 9pm. When I got there I was at 1cm and by 5am when the cervadil was removed I was at 3. Pytosin was started at 6am and my water broken at 9am I got my epidural right after that and was told I was at 5cm. Everything stayed smooth and calm and then all of a sudden I felt the contractions just intensify and with it the pressure and need to push. My SIL called the nurse for me and shen she checked me I was at 9 1/2 so they called my doctor at that time. I pushed throught 5 contractions and he was out! The 4th contraction was the hardest and I really felt like I couldn't do it any more but DH cheered me on so I got strength and made it through. DS has a bit of jaundice but it is slowly going down. My recovery has been a bit harder though, my back hurts and so does my inside but it has been going away as well. DS1 loves his little brother so all is good so far. I'm just glad that HG is gone and everything is going back to "normal" I do miss my sleep though!
